Portable websites

Bring your work.
Keep the review deliberate.

A forged website export is a portable set of supported telaForge content. The import flow is designed to make its pages, media and destinations visible before anything is installed.

A supported website package

A portable forged website contains supported page and shared-section records, safe HTML and CSS, page metadata and allowed media references. It is a content format for moving a telaForge website, rather than a way to execute an arbitrary application.

Before importing

  • Keep an export from the source website and identify the page set you intend to move.
  • Review the destination website’s existing routes and published pages.
  • Check that the images and links belong to the website you are importing.
  • Use the CMS import option and inspect its page list, conflicts and validation result.

Draft first

Imported content begins in draft. Route conflicts are handled explicitly rather than silently replacing an existing published page. Review the navigation, shared header and footer, contact destinations, SEO details and mobile presentation before publishing.

Keep application code separate

A portable website is not a PHP installer, a connector package or an executable archive. The import process does not grant scripts or server-side code the authority of a trusted CMS update.

Design access and portable content have different roles.

The plan controls the complete designs offered by the CMS library. A website owner can review supported content they own through the portable import flow; importing it does not change the hosting plan.
